We came to South Africa some years ago.

What would happen, we did not know.

The day we arrived I will never forget,

because it was so cold and wet,

“Where is South Africa´s sun?” we asked

Behind the clouds it is certainly masked.

June is in Winter here, we had to wait for Spring to appear.

“You must be patient,” they all said, weeks of sunshine lie ahead.

Soon people we began to meet, in church, in shops, and on the street.

In,”Con Spirito” I began to sing, this really was a very good thing.

Languages I began to teach to everyone that I could reach.

My husband worked on the internet, so he really did not fret.

We really enjoy South Africa´s sun, so a new life has begun.

God has helped our immigration to spend our lives in a different nation.
