On 7 January 10 x 5.000 litre water tanks arrived and the sites were levelled. First week in February, they were installed.

All the tanks are connected with each other with an underground pipe. Rain water will be harvested from roofs of houses next to the tanks. Downpipes are connected to the water tanks.

This investment alone is worth near R100 000 once completed.

The tanks are there not only to collect rain water but also – and probably most urgently – to serve as storage for borehole water later.  The borehole will be Phase TWO, which is to follow.
