“Atuba” the main contractor of our new West Wing extension, delivered what they promised – they completed the casting of the 1st floor slab before the builder’s holiday period.

This is an important step in the construction of the building because it allowed the concrete to cure for 4 weeks.

A massive 19 tons of reinforcing steel was placed into position before a fleet of concrete mixer tucks arrived to deliver approximately 220 metric tons of concrete.  The casting of the concrete was done in one day.  Owen, the construction manager of “Atuba”, co-ordinated the delivery of concrete and the casting of it in a most professional way. Well done, Owen!

Now one can see the dimensions of our community hall, it is massive! The pictures speak for themselves.
