Amidst the Western Cape Water Crisis, many good-hearted people across the country rallied together and sent water to the cape.
On Monday, 20 August 2018, Disaster Management arrived at the Heim and dropped off a lot of 5L bottles of drinking water. It was a touching and heart-warming moment; to be witness to people reaching out and lending a helping hand. While we distributed the water in the Heim, we noticed most of the bottles we received were donated by a school in Krugersdorp. We are ever so grateful for their generosity and will be sending the school a letter to thank them.
